...1997 with our wonderful first Coonie-Male "Aramis"...

We had been very lucky that we could get this expressful male from the "Sherokee's Maine Coons": at this time we had already 15 years of experience with cats, but our Maine-Coon-fascination was founded by him: his real name: Indiana Jones of Sherokee, called "Aramis":

 

 

Nowadays we live together with our three neuters and seven real outstanding youngsters for our new breeding program, more welcome....o)))!

Since 1998 we are FIFé-registered Maine-Coon-Breeder in Austria. Soon we'd been very lucky to be able to move into a house with a perfect and large "Coonie's-Garden" (800 m2 at the moment) , as we always intended to offer them a life as much natural as possible, especially with large outdoor-places.

 

The "Coonie's-Garden":

Our so-called "Coonies-Garden" has trees to climb on, beautiful areas of grass and sun-places as well as terraces. The whole garden - as well as our house...o)) - has been specially secured.

 

Our "Coonie's-tree-house":

...that's a kind of a tree-house in the middle of the coonie's-garden: it has its own terrace with roof, it's fully furnished with a lot of cosy sleeping-places and cat-trees, it has a door and a window, and it's fully heated during winter-time, so that our coonies will have the possibility to stay a lot outside or playing in the tree-house any time they want to.

WE ARE STILL BREEDING THEM - THE REALLY HUGE AND BIG MAINE COON'S!

Many times we had to see on our own search that Coonies, who were "named to be big"... - have been in reality bread quite small - all just for "extremely ears"....

We do not follow this "fashion": our main purpose is to keep and develop this extremely size that Maine Coons CAN have some time - but only a few pedigrees are still transporting it: therefore we took lots of time to choose our breeding-cats-pedigrees very carefully, and now we are happy about our seven - outstanding - males and females, all to be able to offer you really big kitties!

(It is no question that FIRST of all comes the completely health of all of our cats, just have a look at our 10-years-old and fully healthy neuters in our gallery!)

All our coonies - as well as all our neuters - are under constant veterinary control in a well-known clinic for animals and are regularly vaccinated against FCV/FHV (flu/enteritis), FeLV and also rabbies. We don´t spare ourselves any costs as we are aware of our responsability, so all breeding-cats are also tested for HCM, PKD, FIV, Chlamydia and FIP, detailed information you'll find on each Coonie's-site.

Our kitten leave our house with around 13 (Austria) to 16 weeks (foreign countries), and have then got the following care from us:

-   the twice-made Triple Rhinotrachetis/Calcivirus/Panleukopenia-vaccination (FCV/FHV)

-   the necessary first Rabies-vaccination

-   a fully deworming, including echinococcus-treatment

-   the implanted Micro-Chip - included with Europe-online-registration

-   the international EU-Passport

-   the official FIFé-Pedigree

-   the actual health-certificate from our veterinerian

-   our sales-contract.

As our highest priority is finding loving and lasting homes for them we sell our kitten either as show- and breeding-cats into small and reliable catteries, or as well as pets.

Kittens who move to other countries must either be picked up at my home by the new owner, or will be delivered by me at the cost of the new owner. Within Europe it may be possible to let a kitten do the trip alone - but only by direct-flight by airplain.

We do not like to give our kitties into completely unsecured free-outdoor-living (but we estimate very much any kind of secured garden or balcony - as coonies love nature!), and we do not sell any cats to "pet-stores" or similar.

We'll have only a few litters each year. If you are interested in one of our kittens please contact us in good time as we mostly have a long waiting-list.

 

Our breeding-plans:

First priority for us is always the total wellness of our Coonies: by careful research of lines we try to breed healthy and typey Maine Coons with a very nice temperament, and concerning their look we pay special attention to the maintaining of the wonderful big size of the Maine Coon's, as well as perfect ears with huge lynxtips, wide snooze and XXXL-tale. Our male-kittens will mostly get around 9-11 kg, the female-kittens about 5-7,5 kg: be aware that Maine Coons need quite a long time to develop - at least 4 years average, and that neutered coonies will get even more than these weights.

Concerning the colours we will have many kitten with silver, some also with little white, as well as all nonagouti-colours like red/creme/blue/black-smoke males, black/blue tortie-smoke solid, and very colourful (silver)torbie girls.

Also remarkable are the pedigrees of our breeding cats: there you'll find lots of famous and highly decorated parents and greatparents as well as high numbers of World-Winner's.
