| ....yes,
it really needs a bit patience
to see a huge Coonie-male
developing like this...o))
Our
11 years old "A*Indiana
Jones of Sherokee", called
Aramis, is born the 18. march
1997, he has the colour red
cl. tabby, and red-brown eyes
(not"green" as it
seems on this picture.)
For
us "Aramis" is very
very special: not only because
of all his optical advantages
but because of his unbelievable
charming and loving side:
he never fighted or even spitted
any time, he is gentle, friendly
and especially human-related,
he's talking a lot to us as
well as to the other coonies,
and he's the boss concerning
his ladies. Even our chief-coonie-female
Highlight gets cosy and sweet
when she sees him... they
still are a loving-couple.
But
also his look is simply remarkable:
he has perfect big ears, a
huge chin, a gorgeous long-haired
coat, an XXL-tale, and a massive,
strong and big body: nowadays
he weights around 10 kg without
any fat...! No wonder - he
has an incredible (already
neutered) father:
CH.
Wildborn’s Hotstepper
of Sherokee,
It's interesting that Aramis
was not like this before getting
4 or 5 years old: he did not
have that chin, not that big
ears, not that weight! It
took him over 4 years to develop
all these parts - he's a true
example that Maine Coons need
at least 4 years to really
grow up!
Our
Aramis is neutered, and he
can look back to over 10 absolutely
healthy years. He's still
very active, loves the snow
(yearly he's producing a winter-coat
with a hair-length of over
12 cm....) and he's still
hunting and climbing on the
trees of our Coonies-Garden.
We really hope to be able
to live with him for many
more years...!!
As
all our Coonies is Aramis
fully vaccinated against FCV/FHV/Panleukopenia,
as well as against FeLV/FIV
and rabbies, to keep his perfect
health!
